March 2006

A large Crusher was run with the flywheels loose. This caused the shaft and flywheels to be loose on shaft & wobble around. This model crusher is no longer made by the manufacturer. Flywheels are unobtainable. The decision was made to true up the shafts and bore the flywheels oversize & install a split sleeve to make it all fit together again. I was called  in to machine the shaft. The other parts are being repaired elsewhere.
