LINE BORING

 

Even with the best of care machinery pin and bearing bores can wear out and become unserviceable. Especially in high load hinge points like those found on construction equipment. They can easily and economically be repaired buy bore Welding & Line Boring

Capabilities

Our current bore welding and  Line Boring capability is 1.5 to 24 inch diameter. This covers most of the machinery that is encountered in our work. On occasion a larger job comes along and we have access to larger equipment if your job requires it.  

Automatic Bore Welding

Automatic Bore welding is accomplished bus using a Bortech 306P. This machine is used to build up the worn surface enough to allow subsequent machining to size  

 

Line Boring

The bulk of our line boring is done utilizing a Climax Portable Machine Tools BB1149 Portable boring bar.
